Environmental Protection is an important aspect of any industry and more so in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry. Tonira is dedicated to Environmental Protection and has created the following facilities :

• A full fledged Effluent Treatment Plant, comprising of Neutralisation Tanks, Primary clarifiers, Aeration Tanks( Activated sludge process ) and Secondary Clarifiers .The effluent quality is monitored round the clock to ensure that the treated effluent quality meets the requirements.

• Scrubbers to absorb all gaseous emissions generated in the process. The vent from the scrubber is regularly monitored to assess the performance of the scrubbers. The ambient air quality is also monitored regularly.

• Arrangement to handle and dispose all solid waste material are provided.
  
  
  The Gujarat Pollution Control Board has accorded consent to Tonira Pharma Limited, under Water, Air Pollution Act and Solid waste.
